What is a DOT Physical?

A DOT physical is a federally mandated medical exam required for all commercial motor vehicle drivers. To obtain or renew your CDL and remain compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, you must be examined and certified by a licensed medical examiner listed on the FMCSA National Registry.
The exam evaluates your overall health and ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle, including vision, hearing, blood pressure, cardiovascular health, and musculoskeletal function. Upon passing, you'll receive a Medical Examiner's Certificate valid for up to two years.
At Newtown Health and Wellness Center, our certified medical examiner conducts thorough DOT physicals designed to get you certified efficiently — without the wait times you'd find at urgent care or retail clinics.

In addition to DOT/CDL physicals, we also offer:

– Return-to-Work Exams
– School Physicals
– Drivers License Physicals
